 Saturday,  August 2, 2025 at 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM, EscaReady Class, Hillcrest,Church | Nine Mile, 800 E 9 Mile Rd,  Event Canceled - chua dieu de bhuddist temple, ESAR building, and Hadji Temple; Pensacola, FL 32514, USA;

  • Jogged to lloyd & 6th
    • looked at phone & turned around and walked/Jogged to route 32 bus stop after a glitch in the software made changed the google map leave by/ arrive by setting in the app.
  • Waited at 9th & lloyd for the route 32 bus
    • took route 32 bus and route 50 bus to nine mile rd. & palafox
  • Jogged to Hillcrest Church for the Escaready class
    • met Adam (a hillcrest church member) who said the BRACE event was cancelled and that no staff showed up.
    • Called Carolyn Clages, Caroline Gray, and Preston Marvel
      • None of the Brace staff responded
  • Started to jog to the ESAR building
    • turned around and waited at the Hillcrest Church door until 10:15am.
  • Jogged to the Buddhist temple on 9530 Nims lane, 
    • Stretched & meditated & listened to nature and FEMA IS 200 outside the building.
      • Met a yardworker who said "I wasn't allowed to lie on my back while in the courtyard".
      • I continued meditating, stretching, and listening to FEMA IS 200 until thunderstorms & lightening forced me to seek shelter.
    • Used the restroom
    • Removed shoes before entering the temple and stretched & meditated inside the temple.
      • meditated during butterfly stretch
      • worked on meditation posture 
      • meditated in Budda statue pose
    • Meditated until the rain stopped
    • Took a nap near the stair well 
    • Donated all my money 35$ except for $2 for the bus to the temple before leaving.
  • Jogged to the ESAR building
    • Jeremy was outside the building 
      • He mentioned the ESAR building was flooded
        • Grabbed a shopvac & started cleaning up the flooded water & floors
          • filled and drained the shop vac 4-8 times during the cleanup.
        • Jim, Clint, and another ESAR member showed up with 2 more shop vacs
        • Called Jeremy and let him know I was going to be late.
        • between all of us cleaned up and dried the flooded floor of the ESAR building.
        • threw out wet cardboard gathered by the other volunteers.
      • George Picked me up from the ESAR building for volunteer work at the KOC Ball at the Hadji Temple.
        • Arrived late to the ESAR KOC Ball due to helping clean up the flooded ESAR building.
        • Jeremy assigned me to Parking lot detail along with another volunteer (who's name I don't currently remember and Jeremy himself).
          • Directed parking traffic towards the volunteer who's name I forgot
            • (he was really good at directing the cars to park kept track of the number of spaces ect.).
        • During the event One person asked if I had a lighter
          • I did not have a lighter on me
            • I may have had a lighter in my backpack but was unsure and had to continue my volunteer parking lot work detail. 
        • a person gave me cake lolipop that I ate when I got home
        • After being relieved of parking lot detail
          • Went inside the Hadji Temple and grabbed a plate of pulled pork, macoroni, corn bread, Potatoe salad, coleslaw, baked beans, and  roll.
            • made and ate a macoroni, potatoe salad, coleslaw, baked bean, roll sandwhich.
            • saved the pulled pork and half the macoroni, potatoe salad, coleslaw, baked beans for dad
        •  Spoke to Jeremy alone about the upcoming ESAR trainings. and asked if he still needed any help with security.
          • He talked about possible upcoming ESAR trainings and responded that security was not necessary.
        • Got a ride home from Dad at around 9:00pm
          • lost my I can't believe its not butter spray bottle at some point during the evening may still be in mom & Dads car though.
