In summary, at the 2025 2.0 Point-in-Time Count-02/27/2025-8:00am-12: 00pm Waterfront Rescue Mission event;
- met with Opening Doors of NWFL staff & Volunteers (Edward, Angel, Rachel, Shawn, and Jaimie).
- met and thanked Mr. Rob Johnson for Waterfront Rescue Missions service to the community.
- Had a conversation with Opening Doors of NWFL members and volunteers about future events and participation.
- Helped make sure that every guest who entered the conference room was included in the point-in-time count survey
- Hopefully directed the request of an individual who wanted to speak to a caseworker to the Opening Doors of NWFL phone number and Email where they could speak to someone with more experience.
- Helped individuals fill out around 20 paper surveys and the corresponding carebags for the Waterfront Rescue Mission street outreach.
- Helped a recently wounded individual obtain enough first aid supplies to keep their surgically closed wounds clean for the next week.
- Hopefully helped Opening Doors of NWFL complete a successful 2025 2.0 Point-in-Time Count-02/27/2025-8:00am-12:
00pm Waterfront Rescue Mission event;
- My father was able to give me a ride home at around 12pm.
I want to thank Edward, Angel, Rachel, Jaimie, and Shawn for making me comfortable and allowing me to help them as a volunteer with the 2025 2.0 Point-in-Time Count-02/27/2025-8:00am-12: 00pm Waterfront Rescue Mission event; and I look forward to the 9am-clothing and ice cream giveaway tomorrow morning and continuing to Volunteer and help out with Opening Doors of NWFL Events!
