Volunteered at Event: Saturday, June 14⋅8:00am – 12:30pm, American Red Cross NWFL FPL Community Storm Expo & Touch-a-Truck Saturday, - FPL, 1 Energy Pl, Pensacola, FL 32520.


  • Volunteered and tabled the American Red Cross Tent, alongside Terri Jenkins, Duke Pruitt and Laura Pruitt at the NWFL FPL Community Storm Expo & Touch-a-Truck event at FPL, 1 Energy Pl, Pensacola, FL 32520.
  • Handed out close to 40 American Red Cross posters, hurricane preparedness packets (hurricane kit preparedness facemasks, Soap, & pens).
  • The table had information on the American Red Cross Free Fire Alarm installation program (in partner-ship with the Local fire departments), volunteer sign-up information sheets, upcoming Veteran support information sessions, and upcoming CPR & First aid training from the American Red Cross among others.
  • Escambia County Emergency Manager Travis Thompkins also stopped by our table among others!
  • I got to learn from Terri, Duke, and Laura about their roles & Experiences at the American Red Cross and hope to continue to learn from them and other at the American Red Cross as I continue training as an American Red Cross Volunteer!
  • I Met with Clint and Johnny from the ESAR team and hope I can begin to learn what the Comms team is about before the next General Meeting at ESAR on June 25th (Hopefully I can find a way to make a contribution to the ESAR team)!
I look forward to continuing to train/volunteer with the Pensacola NWFL American Red Cross and Hopefully start to volunteer with ESAR soon!

 February, 6th 2025- Opening Doors of NWFL Flyer/Newsletter. Picked up flyers from Martika of Opening Doors of NWFL. Walked around Easthill Neighborhood and to Bayview Senior Center/dog park/ Bayview Rec Center to post flyers.  I wasn't able to get a ride up to the college/ make it up to the PSC career fair. I ended up alking around the east hill neighborhood and handing out the flyers to my neighbors. Walked to the bayview Senior Centet I followed up with Judy (The Receptionist) at the  Bayview Senior Center  who I met this morning and gave her 10 Pamphlets for the bulletin board/ tables at the senior center pending approval from the Bayview Senior Center Director. I also gave Judy a flyer with my contact info this morning and gave her another flyer with Martika's', mine, and Mrs. Keieks email addresses written on the flyer.
