- Got a ride from Jim to the American Red Cross NWFL pensacola chapter building
- Met with Terri after arriving at the building she suggested I could work/study in the training room
- Put brownies I made in the fridge to share with others
- Ate a croissant a sprinkled cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie
- Stretched while studying/ listening to ICS-200 course audio
- Attended an Office hours meeting hosted by Donna Mcnair

- Donna answered questions I had about
- The shelter deployment process.
- The need for two-way Radio Operators at shelters.
- Kelly Banks arrived around 3:30-4:00pm at the end of the office hours meeting
- Spoke with Kelly about upcoming events and what she needed help with (Terri had suggested Kelly might need help preparing for upcoming events).
- Kelly suggested that If I was available, she could pick me up Friday July 18th for the Fire Alarm Installation event with soldiers from Eglin AF base.
- Kelly also suggested that If I was available I she could pick up Saturday July 19th for the Shelter Simulation in Milton and that she could drop me off at the ESAR building after the Shelter simulation for the Pilots appreciation dinner.

- Drove the American Red Cross Traverse/ moved the traverse from the vehicle storage location to paring space near the training room door.
- Loaded totes, buckets, fire alarms, and other items for the Crestview Fire Alarm installation onto a dolly
- dollied them
- Met Norm outside while loading the fire installation supplies into the American Red Cross Traverse vehicle
- Norm and I loaded the Fire Installation supplies in the American Red Cross Traverse
- Attended Pensacola/Panama City DAT Meeting at the ARC nwfl pensacola Chapter building
- Covered/ learned about ARC re-alignment changes & Issues
- Norm asked volunteers about local area coverage for DAT calls
- I said Escambia County but that I could increase my range to include other counties if I could get a ride from DAT members.
- Norm suggested that every DAT member going on calls should have the following items from the disaster supply closet incase they needed to hand them out during DAT calls:
- 3 American Red Cross blankets
- 3 stuffed animals 3-6 American Red Cross care packages
- 3 red cross DAT informational folders
- The Red Cross Staff suggested kynd boxes were also available for check out from the supply closet
- Kelly suggested I should take two
- I checked out two American Red Cross Care bags & 2 Kynd bags (that were donated to the ARC to hand out).
- Team members received 3 wawa free beverage cards, 1 American Red Cross drawstring bag, and a red cross workout/walking towel.
- Spoke with Kelly after the meeting to confirm that she would be able to give me a ride to the fire alarm install in Crestview, pending progress with housework I had to complete at my home for my parents.
- Got a ride home at around 7:00pm from my dad after the meeting.
