  • Took bus to ARC PNS chapter building
    • Jogged to bus stop
      • forgot bus money at home
        • had a $3.50 bus card in my bag from a previous bus ride
        • bus fare machine took & charged the $1.50 for the bus ride but the card got stuck in the machine with $1.50 on it so the bus driver couldn't give me a x-fer card and had to call in to the route 43 bus to let them know I paid my fare before riding on the bus.
    • Took bus/busses to Copter rd.
    • Jogged to ARC
  • Put no bake peanutbutter cinnamon oats avocado oil & monkfruit w/ allulose (no sugar added/ thought they were sugar free as I didn't add any sugar- found out there's sugar in the peanut butterpowder) in the kitchen/cafeteria to share with other ARC volunteers & Staff.
  • Met with Terri, signed in, and changed the clothes that I Jogged in.
  • Met with Liz & Rodger
  • Partnered up with Rodger for the logistics workday.
    • Assisted Rodger in measuring the shelve spacing in the outdoor closet & measuring the height of the bottled watered packages
      • the east and west outdoor shelves each had two shelves that could fit two packages of water stacked on top of each other, one shelf that could fit on package of water, and a top shelf.
    • Assisted Rodger in moving the packages of bottled water (that I had previously moved from the outdoor shelve to the business ops closet) back to the outdoor shelves from the business ops closet.
    • Helped organize & move bins & boxes in the business ops storage supply closet.
    • Assisted in measuring, marking, rolling, and tying, American Red Cross banners 
  • Had lunch with the logistics team and other ARC pensacola volunteers.
  • Attended PNS Logistics meeting led by Liz.
    • Volunteers were instructed to complete MVR form among other things.
  • Continued moving water from the business ops closet to the outdoor closet
  • helped break down and throw out empty cardboard boxes.
  • Vacuumed hallway & business ops closet
  • Got a ride home from dad around 3:00pm
I look forward to continuing to volunteer with the American Red Cross NWFL chapter.

 February, 6th 2025- Opening Doors of NWFL Flyer/Newsletter. Picked up flyers from Martika of Opening Doors of NWFL. Walked around Easthill Neighborhood and to Bayview Senior Center/dog park/ Bayview Rec Center to post flyers.  I wasn't able to get a ride up to the college/ make it up to the PSC career fair. I ended up alking around the east hill neighborhood and handing out the flyers to my neighbors. Walked to the bayview Senior Centet I followed up with Judy (The Receptionist) at the  Bayview Senior Center  who I met this morning and gave her 10 Pamphlets for the bulletin board/ tables at the senior center pending approval from the Bayview Senior Center Director. I also gave Judy a flyer with my contact info this morning and gave her another flyer with Martika's', mine, and Mrs. Keieks email addresses written on the flyer.
