  John Thomas Winskas  Attended Event :  Wednesday, April 30th, 7:00pm ESAR General Meeting, 9530 Nims Lane, Pensacola, Fl, 32534  Took bus to Regions bank & 9 mile rd. Walked to Escambia Search & Rescue Building for meeting Greeted at the door Talked to Jeremy about land operations & volunteer/mission opportunities and gave him a paper copy of my ESAR application that I also emailed, he mentioned he would start my background check ASAP. Also confirmed with Jeremy that a misdemeanor should be ok.  Talked to Johnny (Interim Team Leader/Commander of ESAR Comms), (Got Johnny's phone number). Gave my ID to Land operations/IT member for them to copy/scan for my application. Joined ESAR Telegram Group Johnny offered to give me a ride home and was able to tell me about ESAR Comms capabilities and roles during missions. Maxwell St, Pensacola, FL 32503, United States Couse instructors/team leaders: Bonita Davey, Phillip Switzer  Got a ride from dad to BRACE,150 E. Maxwell St, Pensacola, FL 32503 Met Firecorp team Bonita reviewed roles & responsibilities of firecorp volunteers. Unloaded fire corp setup from Trailer, practiced setting up/ helped in setting up rehabilitation Tent, comfort chairs, cooling chairs, cot, medical table, admin table and equipment table. Bonita again reviewed roles & responsibilities of firecorp volunteers. Ran through practice scenarios with the rest of the volunteers as, equipment, scribe, and admin team member. Packed up Firecorp setup and put firecorp items back into trailer. Got a ride home from dad.    John Thomas Winskas  Attended Event : Saturday, April 26th, 2025 8 am - 3 pm, Brace CERT Training: Disaster simulation -115 St John St, Pensacola, FL 32503, United States Couse instructors:   Dr. Sam Mathews,  Aldria Walker ,  Capt. Bill Marvel,  Preston Marvel Completed/ participated in my second CERT disaster simulation with CERT volunteer class members, other volunteers, and BRACE staff. Including search & rescue simulation inside a building finding survivors in a building, setting up a command post; setting up triage areas and practicing canvas stretcher carries, wrapping (simulated) wounds, and observed basic medical survivor psychology techniques.
